Crown and Magistrates Courts
We have carried out projects for many Crown and Magistrates courts
in the UK where solvent free wall and flooring systems have been applied
to holding cells and interview rooms resulting in hygenic and easily cleanable
surfaces. These courts include:
Ealing, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Coventry, Margate, Cheshunt, Stevenage, Brentford,
Wells Street, Guildford, Oxford, Basildon, Balham, Chelmsford, Peterborough, Canterbury,
Hove, Lewis, Maidstone, St. Albans, Harrow, Luton, Reading, Sutton, South Western,
Camberwell Green, Enfield, Brent, Barking, Feltham, Greenwich, Highbury, Woolwich,
Shrewsbury Crown, Oswestry, Market Drayton, Worcester Combined, Leicester,
Grantham, Hereford, Gainsborough, Kingston
Mainly the 5500 Anti Graffiti System has been used which is an extremely tough
and durable solvent free epoxy paint for floors and walls which are susceptible to
graffiti, grease, dirt, food, immersion and general abuse. The paint withstands daily
cleaning and scrubbing with water or solvents, is available in a range of colours and
is suitable for masonry, concrete, steel and other substrates.
The paint is entirely solvent free, has no noticeable smell and has a Class 1 Surface
Spread of Flame certificate to BS 476 part 7 1987. A standard application can be
completed within two days.
The work has been carried out over weekends and out of hours to avoid disruption to
the court's day to day activities.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council
These photographs show work carried out to remove graffiti from the sides
of a school sports hall.
This was achieved using the AG4 Graffiti Remover, a specially formulated blend of solvents and bio-degradable
detergents developed to remove graffiti from extensively vandalised porous or non-porous surfaces
where a long dwell time is possible. The product effectively removes aerosol graffiti, permanent
marker pen, crayon and lipstick from porous surfaces such as brickwork or concrete and non-porous
surfaces such as tiles or metalwork.
The product is applied by brush, left to react with the graffiti
and then washed off with a power wash leaving a clean surface.
The work was completed within four days in time for a VIP visit to the school.

Birse Rail - Coventry
These photographs show work carried out to treat all exposed reco concrete panels
with 2/3 coats of Enviroguard Anti Graffiti System.
Enviroguard is a single pack water/wax protection for buildings. The virtually invisible
coating protects brickwork, masonry and previously painted surfaces. Graffiti cannot
penetrate the treated surface making it relatively easy to remove graffiti by power
washing thus avoiding the use of strong solvents. The coating is partly removed along
with the graffiti when it is cleaned from a surface and may have to be re-applied to
provide protection.
Our method statements and health and safety policies were approved by Birse on behalf
of the client.

Barking Magistrates Court
We have recently carried out work for Barking Magistrates Court. This
involved the removal of graffiti from all exposed surfaces on the front of
the building and the main entrance hall followed by an application of
Pegagraff Hydro to protect the building from future graffiti.
Pegagraff Hydro is a Permanent Coating suitable for surfaces which are
frequently being defaced. The two pack water based product is mixed and
then applied by brush, roller or spray to provide a colourless satin
finish for the protection of concrete, natural stone, brick, wood, coatings
and paints. The coating is water vapour permeable and solvent resistant
making it simple to use solvents to remove the graffiti.
